The Group Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and operational function of a Hotel. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to group/convention customers from all business segments, managing accounts, conducting site inspections, and business development/revenue generation initiatives. Duties include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems to coordinate customer service and business requirements as appropriate. The Group Sales Manager will also participate and may lead Sales & Events and other staff meetings. This person must be a self-motivated and results driven Leader that works effectively/successfully under pressure and in a team environment.

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
A minimum of 2-4 years of Hotel Sales experience
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
Have completed selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
