We are currently seeking a Superintendent for our Commercial sector with a focus on Base Building (Shell), and Industrial (Warehouse/Distribution). 

The position is responsible for:

• On-site oversight, leadership, and management of all labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors 

• Ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures as well as safety objectives 

• Assist with preparation of and updating the project schedule detailing all work activities, material and equipment deliveries and milestone dates following a logical pattern to meet scheduled completion dates 

• Coordinating the installation of utility services with the local utility companies 

• Timely completion of daily reports and field documentation to accurately documents the project progress. 

• Daily coordination and inspection of subcontracted work for conformance with the plans, specifications, and submittals/shop drawings 

• Scheduling, logging, and tracking all materials testing and inspections for 3rd Party Special Inspections and the jurisdictional Building Inspections 

• Attain a thorough and complete understanding of all subcontracts and purchase orders agreements 

• Prepares and conducts pre-construction meetings for all subcontracted work 

• Prepares and conducts weekly subcontractor meetings 

• Communicates daily with subcontractors to assess project progress, schedule, changes and deliveries 

• Tracking of Purchase Orders for major material purchases 

• Ensures jobsite is kept clean, organized, and secure at all time 

• Assist Project Engineer with creating and maintaining Request for Information and Submittals/Shop Drawings

Position Qualifications: 

• Minimum 10 years of relevant commercial superintendent experience 

• Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications 

• Ability to collaborate and lead effectively 

• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines 

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships 

• Ability to recognize, analyze and solve problems 

• Effective oral and written communication skills 

• OSHA 30 Hr Certification  

Preferred Knowledge:

• Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Project 

• Sage (PJ) or equivalent desired but not required
