Job Title:  Spa Attendant

JOB SUMMARY: 

Responsible for maintaining the spa facility to provide a neat, clean, orderly environment. Perform various cleaning duties to ensure all stations, treatment rooms, restrooms, stock rooms and reception area meet spa and salon standards.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: 

Reports to the Spa Operations Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Greet guests with a smile and offer to assist with their needs.
• Fold all linen and keep laundry area and changing lounges neat, clean, and stocked.
• Keep spa reception and waiting areas clean and presentable at all times. 
• Keep beverage bar in relaxation area clean and stocked.
• Assist guests with purchasing juices and snacks 
• Walkthrough relaxation and changing lounges every 15 minutes ie: picking up empty cups, changing trash, mopping up water, removing hair from shower, sink drains and walls.
• Empty and restock linen in Nail and Hair departments. 
• Perform various duties to assist staff as needed.
• Provides guests with a spa tour of the facility.
• Assist in conducting inventory of spa operating and guests supplies as requested.
• Communicate with any member of the spa management team regarding any issues with guests or spa facility immediately.
• Follow property and company guidelines and procedures related to HHM’s Earth View program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Attends and participate in training sessions and staff meetings

Experience

• High school diploma or comparable work experience.
• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training is desired.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and will include working on operational holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching; stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) required.
