We are looking for an experienced full time Staff Accountant. Hospitality finance and Lightspeed experience preferred.

What will you be doing?

• Accounts Payable: organizing invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals, processing AP batches, filing batches, reviewing statements and setting up new vendors.
• Accounts Receivable: review banquet tickets, review room charges, post AV, compile final group billing for sales to review, charge/refund group balances, take deposits, filing, attend weekly resume meetings and collections.
• General Cashier: prepare daily deposits, weekly change orders, weekly safe count, monthly employee bank counts.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

What experience do you need?

• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.  Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to compile facts and figures.
• Ability to operate personal computer and calculator.
• Telephone etiquette skills needed.
