The Banquet Captain is responsible for event execution on assigned events and/or assigned segments of events. This role reports directly to the Director of Banquets. Physically a captain is able to push, pull, or lift 50 lbs. or more. Supervising a team of banquet servers or convention set up individuals to ensure maximum productivity and customer service are always part of this function. Working directly with clients to ensure set up and event success as well as gaining authorization for any changes to programs that change the clients expense are also always part of this function. The Banquet Captain also works closely with the Culinary team to ensure timing or food service is immaculate.
- 1-2 years of banquet or catering experience minimum
- Food Safe Certified recommended
- Indiana State Alcohol Serving Permit

- Non-Uniformed, Business Attire required for this position (suits, ties, jackets, blouse, slacks, dress shoes.
