About you...
  • You have 1-2 years of industry experience within a similar role.
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
  • A team player, hard worker, multi-tasker and detail oriented.
Responsibilities…
  • Responsible for the flow of communication between Director of Food & Beverage, F&B Managers, Catering Manager and Executive Chef.
  • Track and coordinate all questions and inquiries from clients and team members to ensure timeliness of responses to all.
  • Print and distribute F&B-related work orders daily and ensure time-sensitive changes are clearly and promptly communicated to the Banquet and Kitchen departments.
  • Attend the regularly scheduled weekly Production Meeting, Pre-con meeting & post-con meeting.
  • Read, analyze and communicate information gathered from work orders about guests, set up, timeline, specific requests/needs, buffets, actions stations, bars, etc.
  • Maintain a tracing system and distribute information to appropriate departments.
  • Type, layout and print all menus and signage for F&B.
  • Carry out food and beverage-related special requests as they arise (linen, logo cakes, rentals, etc.).
  • Maintain copies of food handler and alcohol certifications, as well as SERV Safe on file for health department inspections.
  • Order office supplies for the F&B Department.
  • Contribute to and support special projects and reports.
  • Perform any ad hoc assignments as necessary.
