Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a Barista to join our team at our award winning resort.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide guests with the highest standards of food and beverage service, maintaining company and brand standards. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DURING SHIFT AND END OF SHIFT

• All counters and shelves (including wall cabinet behind the counter) to be kept free of dust and debris. Personal belongings including cell phones are to be kept put away out of guest view. Divide up cleaning duties equally when 2 hosts working.
• Cleaning products are stored in under-counter compartment by ice machine out of guest view.
• Sanitation buckets to be used with 2 separate towels; one for steamer and one for the countertops.
• Under-counter storage areas shall be kept organized at all times; Place similar products together for easy access and reference for requisition purposes.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed properly within each area. Check area frequently, especially after guests were in there.
• Both under-counter refrigerators shall be kept clean and organized. Maintain a regular cleaning schedule and date-checking to ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Communicate clearly and thoroughly with management regarding inventory and or any guest issues. Utilize communication log to keep other hosts detailed on shift notes.
• Refer to daily checklist throughout shift for tasks to be completed. At the end of each shift initial once tasks complete and turn into management with closing paperwork.
