Job Summary

As part of the Global Workplace Services engineering team, you will be responsible for providing architecture, engineering, and delivery support to Security projects, portfolio, and vulnerability management programs to drive security across the enterprise endpoints.

Candidate Profile

Education And Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field or equivalent experience/certification
• 7+ years’ infrastructure technology experience that include implementing and managing endpoint security technologies in some or all of the following: encryption, Anti-Virus, Endpoint-Detection & Response (EDR), and desktop firewall.
• 3+ years’ experience with PowerShell or other similar scripting technologies.
• 3+ years’ experience with engineering solutions to address vulnerabilities for a large global enterprise using Tenable, or other vulnerability management solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Other Skills, Experiences & Attributes

• Extensive Experience with the following solutions, specifically: Microsoft AD, Ping Federate, HCL Big Fix, Forcepoint SWG, Crowdstrike Falcon, Trend DSA, Tenable, Netscope SWG, Forescout NAC, Service Now, and Trend HD Encryption/Microsoft Bitlocker.
• Excellent communication/reporting skills and problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a matrixed, cross functional, large organization
• Experience with business analysis and requirements gathering for complex business systems
• Experience with Agile and design thinking
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery setups
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Core Work Activities

• Architects, designs, tests, and implements desktop security solutions.
• Architects designs, tests, and implements vulnerability management solutions and enhancements.
• Documents solutions and performs knowledge transfer via designs, build documents, and run guides to external service providers.
• Creates automation and machine learning solutions to increase the speed in which solutions and vulnerability remediations are delivered.
• Translates and defines Global Security requests into new features, enhancements, or modifications.
• Delivers recommendations advising leadership on present risk and whether additional remediation or action is required.
• Advocates for any needed policy / engineering enhancements.
• Creates and drives development of process and system documentation.

Delivering Technology

• Performs quantitative and qualitative analyses for service delivery processes and projects.
• Supports existing systems and projects in a minimum of one environment.
• Reviews completeness of requirements prior to solutioning
• Plans and coordinates implementation, reviews quality control of systems functional design, usability, functionality, and implementation.
• Provides input to support desk change management efforts as it relates to support and training of new system
• Coordinates with appropriate IT and vendor relations teams
• Ensures early warning to the leadership regarding degraded or missed service levels

It Governance

• Follows all defined technology standards and processes (i.e. IT Governance, SM&G, Architecture, etc.), and provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed
• Maintains a proper balance between business and operational risk
• Follows the defined project management standards and processes

Managing Work, Projects, And Policies

• Coordinates and implements work and projects as assigned.
• Complies with Federal and State laws applying to procedures.
• Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
• Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Manages the flow of questions and directs questions.

Supporting Operations

• Works with team to put sustainable work processes and systems in place that support the execution of the strategy.
• Establishes and maintains complete and up-to-date information to ensure accurate reporting.
• Represents team in resolving situations.
• Maintains and manages inventory and service operations.
