POSITION PURPOSE:

Ensure cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas, and assists room attendants according to Hilton's standards of quality.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

•             Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash. Replenish with clean linen and towels.   
•             Remove & replenish linen in Check-Out rooms only.
•             Deliver amenities to guest rooms upon guest requests. 
•             Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, storage areas, vending areas, and foyers.
•             Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.  Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and shampoo carpets.
•             Cleans windows of the tower and ground floor exterior.  Polish hardware throughout the hotel.
•             Remove stains debris such as gum, from carpets & upholstery to maintain a neat and clean appearance.  Use brush, cloths and approved chemical agents for proper cleaning of surfaces.
•             Keep floor closets clean, neat, and well stocked according to departmental guidelines for linen, bathrobes, slippers, water bottles, toilet tissue, facial tissue, etc.
•             Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.

SUPPORTIVEFUNCTIONS:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
