Sr Manager RO Business Operations

• Facilitate in the preparation and analysis of departmental, rental and home owners associations budgets. Handles rentals account receivables. Assists resort management with developing and maintaining cost analysis for cost per clean for room type, full clean, midweek clean and rental stay over clean. Develops and supervises internal controls to safeguard resort assets. Maintains adequate internal control over revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities of the hotel. Educates and advises hotel staff and management on the value and benefits of internal controls. Assumes leadership role in the education of line staff in accounting practices. Assumes cash management responsibilities, monitoring and controlling the general cashiers of the properties.
• Completing Annual budget of Home Owners Associations, Retail Budget, Start-up Budget for Opening Hotels in various phases, CapEX Budget applicable to Retail location!
• Prepares monthly Financial variance, rolling projections, annual forecasts and capital budgets/Subsidy(Developer contricution budget) projections .
• Monitors forecasts, projections and budgets throughout the year and advises RO management, corporate office of any major variances and their impact on the operations.
• Provides financial oversight of the capital expenditure process. Ensures capital projects are completed within established critical path and financial projections. Conducts post completion audits of capital projections.
• Runs personnel functions of accounting representatives and general cashiers such as selection, orientation, training, performance reviews, subject area, counseling, scheduling, pay and recognition. Maintains a positive collaborative work environment between staff and management. Helps develop management talent by acting as a mentor for direct reports. Monitors payroll hours and reports.

Audit controls to include daily cash deposits, to ensure accuracy with audit reports. Ensures that all licenses, permits and insurance policies are current and in compliance with local, state, and Federal laws. Monitors all contracts and agreements and advises hotel management of terms, conditions and benefits. Conducts monthly operating statement review meetings. Ensures compliance with financial record retention policies. Administers the competitive bidding process. Cooperates with internal/external audits and implements agreed upon recommendations.

Must have validated experience in related field and minimum 3 years management experience

Proficient in Windows and Excel!
