Job Summary

The Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager will develop and execute recruitment strategies in collaboration with the VP, Human Resources to ensure employer brand awareness and successful talent acquisition across the organization in support of the mission, core values, standards and goals established by the company.

Core Responsibilities

Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:

Recruitment Strategy & Tactics

  • Employer Branding & Marketing
    • Acts as an ambassador for the Kessler Collection
    • Monitors and updates the career recruitment websites
    • Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position
    • Monitors and creates and design company profiles on social media (Company Career Page, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Facebook and Instagram) and major job boards
    • Partners with internal and external Marketing/PR resources to ensure the Kessler Story is told in a way that would attract desired talent
    • Reviews recruitment tool kits (collateral, flyers, ) for job fairs and community engagement
    • Monitor The Kessler Collection employment branding content; in collaboration with VP HR and provide guidance and feedback to key stakeholders; across all channels (including not limited to Glassdoor, Facebook, Linked In and company career page
    • Responsible for Full-Cycle Recruitment of assigned hourly and exempt level positions including corporate office positions
  • Establishes start to finish recruitment process for external and internal candidates
    • Clarifies, creates and updates necessary SOP’s, forms, auditions and assessment tools
    • Reviews application and screening tools for compliance with laws and risks associated with recruitment
    • Assists with execution, adoption and sustainment of ongoing strategies and solutions
    • Manage and maximize 'Handshake Platform'
  • Compiles scorecards, monitors performance of recruitment channels for key performance indicators
  • Compiles benchmark information and comp set trends for competitive analysis
    • Wage Survey tools
    • Assessment tools (DiSC)
    • Social Media Outlets
    • Job Board (HCareers, Indeed, Marriot (TalentPoint), etc.)
  • Creates and facilitates training materials for multiple audiences
    • HR team
    • Hiring managers
  • Partners with location based HR team and assists hotel locations with pre-opening, mass hiring, & extended time to fill challenges
    • Provides support, tools, recommendations and assistance with ensuring successful hiring events
    • Support new hotel transitions; coordinate with on property efforts, career fairs, task force, job postings, recruiting of exempt and non-exempt associates, offer letters and on-boarding
Applicant Tracking System Administrator
  • Adhere to all relevant tracking and compliance requirements utilizing UKG
  • Maintain applicant tracking system with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing
  • Assists with reporting and analytics for all Talent Acquisition Deliverables
  • Performs applicant tracking system training as part of HR on-boarding and quarterly refresher training
  • Recommends and implements continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and solutions
 Recruiting Assessment Tool Management
  • Develop quarterly metrics to evaluate successful sourcing strategies and recruitment performance to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Create and maintain recruiting data history and power point presentation scorecards
  • Communicates weekly open Executive Management positions
  • Provide weekly reporting on staffing activities, applicant flow, time to hire and recruitment for all open positions
College Recruiting Relationship Management (National)
  • Sending open positions to alumni lists and attending college career fairs
  • Attending career fairs for culinary colleges such as CIA and Johnson & Wales
  • Attending hospitality college career fairs such at Florida State University and Rosen College of Hospitality Management
  • Attend career fairs at art and design colleges such as Ringling College of Art of & Design
  • Create and foster relationships with colleges to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates
Staffing Firm Relationship Management
  • Manage staffing firm relationships, contracts, invoicing and candidate interview process
Visa Program Relationship Management
  • Establish and manage relationship and attend recruiting fairs on behalf of the company for J1 and H2b programs
  • Work with leadership to identify, implement and manage Visa Programs and initiatives
Manage the full life cycle of the corporate recruitment process
  • Partners with VP HR to fill key leadership openings across various teams
  • Responsible for ad placement, pre-screening, interview scheduling, travel arrangements, testing/auditions, and reference checks
  • Assist with managing the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Assist with regular on-site interview days with GM and corporate office candidates, and communication with candidates
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods (including social media) and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Maintain a positive “candidate experience” by ensuring communication throughout the recruitment process including personal contact of of status
  • Communicates to VP, HR hiring status of candidates
  • Communicates candidate’s clearance to Human Resources and hiring managers

  • Ability to host meetings and facilitate discussions and deliver inspiring training presentations
  • Ability to identify potential and creative staffing opportunities
  • Knowledge of best practices related to talent acquisition

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related training equivalent - required

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in similar title and scope of responsibility - required

  • Experience with successful employment / recruitment related risks and laws - required

  • Experience with successful College partnerships - preferred

  • Experience with international Visa programs & partnerships (J-1, H2B, etc.) - preferred

  • Hospitality industry experience – preferred

  • Luxury brand experience – preferred

  • Similar size organization – preferred

  • Fast paced / entrepreneurial / high change / growing company – preferred

  • Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems & capabilities – required

  • Experience with implementation of ATS system - preferred

  • Microsoft suite: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint - Required

  • Valid driver’s license – required

  • Valid & current passport (permitting international travel) - required

  • Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice

  • Sit for extended periods of time
  • Extended and simultaneous use of multiple computer monitors, simultaneous use of phone, keyboard and mouse
  • Regular lifting and maneuvering of up 20lbs on a daily basis, 40lbs on a periodic basis
  • Travel by foot, car, bus, airplane or other means of transportation which require sitting, waiting and standing for long and short periods of time
