Do you have a passion for the food and beverage industry? Does making others happy excite you? If so, then you could be the ideal candidate for our PM Server and Cocktail Server position we currently have available at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris! You would engage and serve our guests in our brand new restaurant 17 Arrows and Patio, by providing them with the highest levels of guest service. Our founder, Conrad Hilton, had a vision to "Spread the Light and Warmth of Hospitality Throughout the World" and that is our goal at the Hilton Polaris every single day. We are currently looking for part time and full time positions. The ideal candidate would be available to work mostly lunch and dinner shifts, during the week and on weekends.
The Hilton Columbus/Polaris is currently seeking a PM Server and Cocktail Server for our beautiful 254 room full service AAA Four Diamond hotel located in the vibrant Polaris community. As an associate of the Hilton Columbus/Polaris, you will also be an associate of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, one of the nation's largest and fastest growing hospitality management companies. As a part time associate you will be eligible for health insurance and participation in our 401K program after 6 months of employment, with a match of 50 cents on the dollar up to 6% and a 5 year progressive vesting schedule. You will also accrue vacation time each paycheck at a rate of 5 days of vacation after one year (this is based on how many hour you work so it will fluctuate). After six months of employment you can begin utilizing any accrued vacation time. Part time associates also enjoy free parking, a free hot meal provided when working your shift and discounted hotel rooms within the Hilton brand and with Crescent Hotels & Resorts' properties.
Upon offer of employment candidates must be willing to submit to social security verification and criminal background check. MVR checks may also be conducted if the position requires the associate to operate a company vehicle.
The company does not offer relocation for this position.
What would I be doing?
Serve our guests with the highest levels of guest service in our BRAND NEW RESTAURANT AND BAR, 17 Arrows (and patio!). Greet guests, take orders, utilize our Point Of Service system, deliver food to tables all while displaying the highest levels of guest service and satisfaction.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.
