ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Makes all mixed drinks for the service bar. 
• Greets bar guests, presents menu, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding drinks, food and service. 
• Uses pars to prepare mixes, recipes and cutting bar fruit. 
• Sets up and maintains bar during shift. 
• Follows recipes and procedures when preparing beverages, mixes and garnishes. 
• Assists servers. 
• Cleans and maintains all bar equipment. 
• Observes guests -- anticipates and responds to requests.  
• Communicates with guests - exceeds guest’s expectations. 
• Keeps bar cleared of empty glasses, trash, plates, etc. -- clean as you go. 
• Follows all health, safety, company and safety standards. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains a cheerful demeanor at all times. Understands the value of a smile.
• Guests greeted, drinks and food served in a timely manner.
• Locks up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.

• Anticipates guests needs and responds to any problems -- addresses both with an equal sense of urgency.
• Personal appearance to Company standards each day/shift.

• QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understands that focus of job is to exceed guests’ expectations -- finds ways to say “yes” to the guest -- notifies management immediately when there is a guest complaint or a failure to meet a guest’s expectation has occurred and works with management to then exceed the guest’s expectations in resolving the situation.
• Meets legal age requirement for serving/preparing alcohol - in some areas certification may be required.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Significant movement required throughout the shift.
• Standing; stooping; twisting upper body, grasping and handling small, heavy objects (plates of food, silverware, trays, etc.)
• Carrying ice weighing up to 30 pounds from kitchen to dining room several times per shift - as well as carrying cases, kegs or bottles of product weighing in excess of 30 pounds in stocking and managing bar inventory.
• Move kegs weighing up to 140 pounds with aid of hand truck.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

 Associates must work well with limited supervision within their specific job functions but must be highly interactive with co-workers to accomplish work -- must be able to be a team player.
