The Arizona Biltmore is looking for a Administrative Assistant to join the team at this historic Waldorf Astoria property!

Located in the heart of uptown Phoenix since 1929, this gorgeous 39-acre property has 700 rooms, villas and cottages, over 315,000 square feet of banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets. Fresh off of a much anticipated multi-million dollar renovation, this is an exciting time to join the leadership team at this iconic property.

In this role, you will report directly into the Director of Food and Beverage and help oversee all operations, the day to day. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational, positive leader with a talent for training and developing others, a knowledge of industry meeting trends and a passion for creating memorable experiences.  At least 2-3 years experience in a admin assistant role in Food and Beverage.

*This role is a Monday - Friday - 9am - 5pm position

What will I be doing?

As a Administrative Assistant in Food and Beverage, you would be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to department managers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Greet and assist guests and respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform word-processing, typing, e-mailing, data-entry, filing, faxing, copying, processing mail and taking notes and/or dictation
• Answer telephones
• Expedite correspondence
• Make travel arrangements
• Perform other general office duties and assist with special projects, as needed
• Provides department staff with administrative support including typing, filing, answering telephones, maintaining calendars, mail, correspondence, BEO's, meetings and records.
• Coordinate and implement department activities and projects, as assigned.
• May assist in servicing clients.

Requirements
