The main purpose of the Guest Services Manager is to be accountable for the overall direction and coordination of Bonvoy Elite and VIP guests. The VIP Manager will be the point of contact for all Bonvoy Ambassador, Titanium, Platinum and VIP guests that may have special requests.  This role will also oversee the entire amenity process for the hotel along with the delivery to guest rooms. This role requires daily room inspections and communication with the housekeeping, engineering, and the sales teams.  The candidate must be able to execute flawless guest service in line with Marriott’s core values. The candidate will coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate would be energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience.  Excellent communication skills are required.

Essential Functions:  

  • Ensure all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner and that all Marriott standards are being applied.
  • Responsible for running several reports related to Marriott Bonvoy and guest preferences and adhering to our guests preferences and expectations.

  •  Work with Food and Beverage and Purchasing for guest amenity items and prep and delivery.

  •  Assist in daily room inventory inspection of VIP/Amb/Titanium/Plat rooms.

  •  Work with Housekeeping and Engineering on Preventative Maintenance of guest rooms. 

  •  Responsible for the Marriott Bonvoy Guest membership program and ensure that all guests who are members are appropriately recognized, meeting all Marriott standards.

Education and Experience:

Previous experience in a similar position is required. Two to four years experience in Front Office/Housekeeping/Guest Services.

Requires a minimum of 2 year of supervisory experience.

High school or equivalent education required.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Position requires a varied work schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.

Computer skills required including: Word and Excel.

Clear concise written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills.
