Position: Valet Attendant  

JOB OVERVIEW:  Greet all guest arriving and departing from the hotel with their vehicle needs • Park vehicles while following Standard Operating Procedures set for by hotel standards • Complies with hotel standards, policies, and rules

REPORTS TO:       Front Office Manager 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide prompt, efficient, courteous, and friendly vehicle care and delivery to all valet customers
• Greet each customer in a friendly and professional manner
• Accurately and promptly process valet tickets according to operating procedures
• Operate, park and retrieve vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Cooperates with all team members to provide the best possible service to all valet customers
• Always communicate professionally with valet customers, the client and your teammates
• Remain posted at designated areas in view of arriving and departing guests, ready to assist as needed
• Assist with driving, loading and unloading transportation vehicles as directed
• Use of key logging tags, log books and forms

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Able to stand, walk and run throughout entire shift (including ramps and stairs)
• Ability to work major holidays that draw traffic to the location
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of (1) one year of experience working as a valet in a hotel or residential building
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Excellent observation, communication, guest service and report writing skills
• Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
