Job Duties And Responsibilities

Supervises and assists Bell Staff in greeting and escorting guests promptly upon their arrival to maximize guest satisfaction. 
Assures that guests are met either at their cars or at the Front Desk and assisted with baggage to their rooms 
Schedules Bell Staff appropriately according to functions and occupancy 
Disciplines, interviews, hires and trains staff as needed 
Assures that guest rooms are inspected for proper order and adequate supplies, and guests are informed of room amenities and emergency exits. 
Provides information and assistance to enhance guest service. 
Assures that log is being kept documenting all trips. 
Assures that van is kept clean and well maintained. 
Maintains proper procedures relating to self-park vehicles and valet-park vehicles in order to provide maximum service to guests. 
Acquires a working knowledge of in-house facilities and local information to respond to guest inquiries as requested. 
Trains Bell Staff in promoting hotel restaurants and lounge in order to increase hotel revenues. 
Delivers relevant mail, laundry and messages to hotel guests or conference participants as requested in order to provide quality service and convenience to guests. 
Ensures the appearance of lobby and brochure rack is satisfactory to maintain a quality image of the hotel. 
Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives 

Education And Experience

Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Bell person 
Minimum of High School education 
Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check and Drug Screening 

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to multi-task  
Team player  
Ability to exceed expectations of guests
