JOB SUMMARY:Ensures all deliveries and purchases for the Hotel are accurate and well communicated to all department outlets. As well as, maintains proper par levels and inventories on all said items.

JOB DUTIES

• Signs in all administrative packages upon arrival, keeping an accurate tracking system at all times for the Hotel. 
• Places all orders for the Hotel, to include perishable and non-perishable items.
• Maintains and inventories all food and beverage storeroom products as well as, coolers and freezer space
• Helps to control food cost by ordering according to BEO’s and kitchen needs.
• Records and processes all invoices for the F&B department and other Hotel departments.
• Continuously shops for the best available products and prices for maintaining the quality and costs of the department
• Communicates daily with Banquet Chef/Restaurant Chef to ensure proper ordering and inventories for kitchen and corresponding BEO’s
• Maintains and keeps organized and clean the storerooms, walk-in coolers, and freezers with the help of the purchasing clerk.
• Reports daily to Food & Beverage director/Executive Chef to maintain constant communication on all deliveries and inventories. As well as, informing of price fluctuations, better pricing due to competitor pricing and rotation of foods. 
• Support the Director of Finance in scheduling shifts and paperwork for purchasing employees
• Always provides a professional image through appearance and dress

Note: May be assigned other duties by supervisor or management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Finance Experience required
  
• Business administration preferred
  
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to walk and move about for extended periods, stand, reach, talk, hear, grasp and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry or otherwise move up to 10-25 lbs. and up to 70lbs occasionally
• Ability to work in a fast paced, stressful environment at times
