The Hilton NY Midtown and the Conrad NY Midtown is expanding their Revenue Management Team!

This Complex Revenue Manager position is a Cross Functional Role that will support revenue initiatives in Transient markets as well as Group/Event Catering.  We are looking for talent that can help create a revenue structure with a team that cultivates synergies across the two hotels and in turn increase customer demand, conversion and rate.

Two Fabulous properties representing 2,440 keys total and 150,000 square feet of meeting space with one vision of expanding revenue potential.

What will I be doing?

  • Manage assigned revenue projects from the Complex Director of Revenue Performance and the Assistant Director of Complex Group Catering and monitor group and transient business thresholds to ensure measurable improvements for demand and availability.
  • Supply critical analysis on the effect of short-range decisions effecting occupancy, average rate and rooms profit goals
  • Analysis of city events and activities and to project the effect of opportunities they create. Monitor competitive analysis.
  • Managing and maintaining group and transient inventory controls
  • Daily review and implementation of room accommodation and rate inventory controls in OnQ PMS and OnQ RMS. Includes weekly implementation of roll-in controls.  
  • Ensure group inventory and cut-off dates are managed according to demand.
  • Implement all blackout dates in OnQ and review monthly to determine if adjustments are needed.  Work with Director of Front Office to ensure that sellout strategies are in place, and that OnQ PMS and are balanced daily.
  • Attend and participate in Revenue Management Meetings where the appropriate booking period is evaluated for proper rate and availability control.
  • Be a part of a team that strategizes future issues such as booking pace, pricing strategies, marketing opportunities and the competitive environment.  Continue to develop, monitor, and adjust sales and pricing strategies based on analysis and trends.
  • Daily review of Delphi FDC reports: GRC, Backlog (monthly), Daily Transaction, Booking Review, Lost Business, and Booking Status reports.
  • Review end of month rooms statistics reports including FMS, Monthly Revenue Management Reports, STAR, and Key Hotel Marketing Reports, Report of Operations, and provide critical analysis on performance vs. forecasts and results
  • Conduct displacement analysis of group business, as needed, to determine impact potential business will have on RevPAR.  Review all tentative and definite group bookings, to ensure that they support implemented strategies.
  • Be a part of the TEAM to prepare all Weekly, Monthly, Rolling Forecasts and Annual Budget using OnQ RMS, Excel, OnQ FMS, Delphi FDC, and Netrez/OnQ PMS.
  • Review all competitive shops on a consistent basis and identify selling strategies and market trends.
  • Review Demand calendars, convention calendars and city event calendars to keep abreast of all demand generators.
  • Maintain historical data on events and performance on any promotions during these demand-generating events.
