What will I be doing? Utilizing an extensive and diverse knowledge of hotel operations, the Manager, Quality Assurance (QA) Auditor will partner with and advise some of the best Hilton Focus Service properties. The QA Auditor will perform numerous QA audits and have responsibility for over 100 hotels. With a consultant perspective, the QA Auditor will teach and guide leaders of these properties. You will travel daily to evaluate hotels and conduct inspections, which will include a review of the audit with the General Manager of the property prior to leaving the hotel and generate reports with images of the inspection for analysis by numerous parties. Your main duty is to protect the integrity of the brands inspected in terms of cleanliness, condition, guest safety, and brand standards.

  • Perform routine Quality Assurance evaluations.
  • Communicate with Quality Auditors, Area Managers in QA, Directors, Vice President of QA, Brand teams, Design and Construction, and Human Resources to answer inquiries about brand standard compliance, QA, brand protocol, procedures, and Improvement Plans.
  • Monitor expenses incurred from travel completed/scheduled, both based upon monthly and yearly goals.
  • Coordinate upcoming activities such as travel plans and hotel scheduling, ensuring downtime work is completed and submitted by established deadlines.
  • Assist with meeting content preparation, training, and with projects as needed.
  • Participate in Consistency exercises.

Requirements

What are we looking for? We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Experience in managing various hotels at a time
  • Knowledge/understanding of hotel operations (including front and back of the house operations, including F&B operations), product replacement cycles, renovations, and physical upgrade
  • Proven ability to analyze situations, and diagnose problems/solutions, while upholding the integrity of the brand yet working with potential conflicts/issues with general managers, owners, and/or internal customers.
  • Outstanding project management/interpersonal skills, including balancing multiple projects at a time, building positive relationships with senior leaders, and collaborating remotely with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Deep understanding of the hotel's key performance measures with the ability to analyze and share at the owner/management company level; knowledge of hotel development process including financing, construction, and operations

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of experience as a Department Head in a Hotel
  • Two (2) years of managerial experience
  • Multi-departmental hotel experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 90% Travel; ability to travel internationally, as needed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Both Spanish and English verbal and written proficiency

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
