Hotel Ballast, located on the famous Wilmington Riverwalk, is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional customer service to guests during the check-in and check-out process

Responsibilities:

• Register guests and assign rooms
• Accommodate special requests as able
• Ensure accurate guest information is received
• Process guest check-outs
• Follow procedures on posting charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds
• Resolve guest grievances
• Knowledgeable ins safety and emergency procedures 
• Promote and sell special hotel programs
• Knowledgeable of hotel layout, room rates, and types of rooms
• Provide exceptional service and a welcoming smile!

Requirements:

• 1+ years in customer service
• Neat appearance and pleasant personality
• Ability to work on feet for extended period of time
• Excellent communication skills
• Pleasant telephone demeanor
• Weekend availability required
