Located just a short walk from Yale University, the new Cambria Hotel New Haven University Area is scheduled to open September of 2022.
We are looking for our next great team member to join with us in the position of Server for the Exciting opportunity to be a part of a new opening hotel.

As a Server, you would greet and serve the guest in a courteous and timely manner, resulting in the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Seat guest, take food and drink orders according to service menu and communicate orders with the kitchen staff.
Answer any guest questions about the menu.
Help with required set-up side work and cleaning as assigned.
Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
Take payment and Input orders into the point of sale system to creates a check for each guest. .
Receive cash from guests, makes any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers (if applicable) are properly executed, in order to balance all money received.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular scheduled basis.

Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Can communicate well with guests.
Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
