Looking for self-motivated and energetic people to join our team at the Boardwalk Beach Resort.  Qualified candidates must also possess an eye for detail and the desire to exceed the expectations of guests and homeowners.  Candidates must know how to delegate.  

Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintain inventory of guestrooms and housekeeping supplies.
• Coordinates all the needs of the housekeeping department such as ordering supplies, timesheets, schedules and staff meetings.
• Train room attendants and supervisors on proper procedures for cleaning rooms.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager, Office Manager and Chief Engineer in the repair and maintenance program as related to guestrooms and public areas.
• Accept opportunities to learn new skills, improve performance or cross-train for other resort positions.
• Hiring and terminating of all housekeeping staff.
• Performs inspections.
• Maintain inventory of guestrooms and housekeeping supplies.
• Evaluations of staff performance and yearly reviews. 

Qualifications:

• Work experience of 2-4 years in housekeeping.  Overseeing all cleanliness and operations of housekeeping, laundry and public areas.
• Must possess good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, be outgoing, perceptive and self-motivated with the ability to work harmoniously with team members.
• Must be able to communicate articulately and comprehend written and verbal communication.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of inventories, scheduling and productivity
• Must possess a valid driver's license
