What will I be doing?

The Sr Analyst Business IT delivers strategic business analysis services to technology and business partners by working closely with a broad set of business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer’s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. Key deliverables include requirements framework, workflow diagrams, and the development of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, which are agreed upon during backlog grooming, prior to development sprints.

The Senior Business Analyst collaborates with Architecture, Business Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance, to ensure the desired capabilities are properly articulated. You will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Elicit, analyze, and document requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
  • Plan the business analysis effort, contribute to how requirements will be managed, and review deliverables with IT and Business stakeholders for quality and consistency
  • Partner with leadership to develop process improvements or re-engineering, recommending elimination as well as integrating new systems and processes with existing ones
  • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key collaborators to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies; Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple partners
  • Identify, document, and quantify business needs; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with architects and developers to implement requirements as User Stories for the Scrum team, partnering with the business Product Owner, and Quality Assurance, to gain approval of User Stories for each sprint
  • Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate fluency in business processes and process differentiation – finding opportunities for efficiency proactively
  • Create and maintain success metrics, reports, issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Preferred candidates that live in Orlando or Las Vegas areas but not a must
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
  • Highly skilled in various methodologies (Agile – Scrum/SAFe, Waterfall, Kanban, etc.)
  • Ability to read, interpret, analyze and communicate effectively verbally and in written form
  • Superb communication, facilitation, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Highly capable of managing customer expectations and building relationships
  • High ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Demonstrated capabilities of managing complex efforts that require velocity and adaptability
  • Experienced in developing requirements, user stories, process maps, models, and diagrams
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills
