This position will play a fundamental role in creating and delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to the Washington, D.C. Office.



  • Lead and develop hospitality teammates skillsets and careers; and participate in performance reviews
  • Manage day to day activities of Rooftop Café, Floor Pantry Areas, Meetings and Catering
  • Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality experience to Winston employees, clients and guests

Office Events/Celebrations:

Creative Lead for all office events, including:

  • Annual Holiday Party (Source outside venue and work within established budget guidelines)
  • Quarterly Office Parties
  • Monthly Happy Hours
  • Payday Pastries
  • Weekly Lunches/Afternoon Breaks
  • Pop Ups: Ice Cream Social, Donut Day, etc.
  • Other events as assigned

Client Events/Meetings:

  • Coordinate with Business Development team on food & beverage support for on-site client meetings
  • Occasionally provide Business Development team with ideas for off-site venues for client meetings, lunches and dinners tailored to client needs and budget

Food and Beverage:

  • Familiarity with DC market including restaurants, event venues and caterers
  • Stay abreast of new restaurant and catering venues; continually seek new options
  • Track trends in food and beverages
  • Create a list of reliable vendors catering a variety of meals for both client and internal meetings
  • Ensure all food is well presented and includes appropriate signage
  • Manage inventory of Café and pantry items


  • Communicate with team frequently and effectively
  • Communicate with manager and peers on a regular basis
  • Be prepared to communicate with all levels of management and attorneys
  • Communicate with other support team members (e.g. graphics for invites, signage, etc.)


  • Manage budgets and vendors around facilities activities
  • Along with team, oversee repair and maintenance of Café, kitchen and pantry equipment
  • Perform inspections and maintain facilities records
  • Ensure all team members follow guidelines for proper handling of food and beverages
  • Partner with Administrative Facilities & Operations Coordinator on space and building needs or issues as they relate to meetings and events

DE&I and Wellness:

  • Support Firm wellness activities including internal and external events
  • Support Firm DE&I events including lunches, etc.


  • Manage expenses to budget; report on variances
  • Actively participate in site budget process
  • Actively seek and implement approved cost savings opportunities


  • Have knowledge of local restaurants and catering vendors at all levels
  • Understand the evolving culture of Winston and local office culture and preferences
  • Ensure vendor insurance is in place and meets building and Winston requirements
  • Continually look at ways to add innovation and process improvements

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Contribute to continued growth and attendance of the office through your and your team’s performance
  • Identify and propose innovative, efficient and/or other value add solutions


  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business or relevant prior work experience in related field required
  • 4+ years of customer service experience required


  • Able to problem solve with little to no direction
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms
  • Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Work occasionally requires more than 37.5 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position
