ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Rooms Controller is the key collaborator who partners with essential teams to ensure we are able to maximize our room inventory and capitalize on all revenue opportunities. The essential function of this role is to ensure guest have a flawless arrival experience. Blocking groups based on the contract and planners request, ensuring we have an ongoing inventory of rooms receiving scheduled preventative maintenance, preparing the hotel for SITE visits, VIP and Special guest arrivals. The candidate will work closely with the Revenue Management team to keep the room inventory balanced at both properties. In the event of relocation, the RC will ensure guest are made aware prior to arrival to the hotel and accommodations are prepared in advance at the new location. The RC will also be responsible for taking advanced deposits.
This position is a complex property position; meaning the Rooms Controller will toggle between two hotels. Flexibility is required including holidays, weekends and day and evening shifts. Candidate will be required to work Front Desk when needed.
