Description

The Regional Marketing Manager manages all aspects of direct marketing operations and database analysis, player development, players’ club and entertainment/special event operations, for all New Hampshire locations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Hires, motivates, trains, coaches, mentors, and directs departmental managers that possess the aptitude to provide excitement, as well as deliver world-class service, in order to ensure that Team Members receive sufficient leadership, guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
  • Establishes department standards, guidelines and objectives, and maintains other administrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas.
  • Maintains constant awareness of the latest gaming regulations and works closely with regulatory authorities and various internal control staff members to assure regulatory and operational practice compliance.
  • Collects and analyses relevant market data, and applies useful data as the foundation for sound strategic business decisions
  • Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.
  • Establishes marketing goals to ensure market share and profitability of products and/or services.
  • Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services.
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological and demographic factors so those market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized.
  • Plans, oversees and analyzes the organization’s advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic, and direct mail outlets with respect to player development, guest services, administration and games development.
  • Communicates with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns.
  • Works with writers and artists and oversees copywriting, design, layout, paste-up, and production of promotional materials.
  • Develops and recommends pricing strategy for the organization which will result in the greatest market share over the long run.
  • Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share performance in relation to pre-set standards and to general and specific trends within the industry and the economy.
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results and that corrective action takes place to be certain that the achievement of marketing objectives are within designated budgets.
  • Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Recommends changes in basic structure and organization of marketing group to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives assigned to it and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to marketing problems and opportunities.
  • Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts.
  • Prepares marketing activity reports to be submitted to the VP Marketing.
  • Approves complimentaries in accordance with company policies.
  • Daily travel may be required between locations, to provide support, perform projects and or provide training.
  • Take on and manage various projects as assigned in order to aid in achievement of evolving company goals and objectives.

Requirements

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.); or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have prior experience in gaming or hospitality environment.
  • Familiarity with current analytic tools, good presentation skill, and personal and mini-frame computer competency required.
  • Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas and to make independent decisions.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and indemnifications requisite to the successful completion of all essential responsibilities.
  • Must meet or exceed all regulatory conditions stipulated for individuals holding this or similar positions.
