Sell and service catering and conference services clients with <25 guests. Work with Banquets on the successful execution of catering events in hotel meeting space and outlets during non-operating hours. Will sell and service clients following the catering and meeting space guidelines.

Responsibilities include, but are never limited to:

3. Represent the hotel in a positive professional manner at all times.
4. Work directly with teams to establish and price catering menus, set standards for banquet event
orders, payment, and staffing guidelines for catered functions.
5. Work with teams to achieve the successful execution of catered events in the meeting space.
6. Work with Senior Director of Sales, Conference Manager, Director of Group Sales, and banquet
operations team to establish revenue goals and marketing plan.
7. Oversee Catering Sales Managers and ensure that weekly sales goal activity are monitored, sign off
on BEO's, ensure that established catering sales and sales department guidelines are followed.
8. Be a selling role, handling both catering inquiries with 9 rooms or less and detailing BEO's for group
sales managers.
9. Partner with Director of Group Sales to establish selling markets for both the Director of Catering
and Catering Sales Manager.
10. Responsible of various reporting as required and scheduling of Catering Sales staff as appropriate.
11. Meet and exceed budgeted food and beverage, meeting room rental and audio visual revenue goals
as outlined by the hotel's budget. Develop assigned market segments by following the Marketing
Plan action items utilizing the following sales protocols. Individual weekly goals will be followed as
outlined in the Sales Office Standards and Procedures.
a. Face to Face Appointments and Outside Sales Calls
b. Telemarketing/Prospecting

c. Site Inspections and On-Site Entertainment
d. Constant Contact Email Blasts
e. Networking Functions related to Market Segment
f. Client Appreciation Parties
g. Local High Rise Infiltration and Exposure for the Wit
h. Trade Organization Participation
i. Internal Communication
j. Servicing of Accounts as needed
k. Follow-up on Leads and Referrals within 4 hours of receipt
12. Meet and exceed Food and Beverage revenue goals through catering sales goals for meeting space,
Screening Room and promoting other food and beverage outlets during non-operating hours.
13. Follow prescribed Action Calendar in Marketing Plan to ensure your assigned activities are
completed in a timely manner and utilize Action Calendar as a guideline for Catering Sales
Manager.
14. Assist in developing Marking Plan for following year for Catering Sales.
15. Assist in maintaining a team effort with fellow sales staff members as well as with other
departments within the hotel.
16. Actively sell and promote all amenities and outlets of the hotel, including meeting space, Screen
Room, Spa.
17. Follow the meeting space selling guidelines to ensure maximum room revenue per occupied
meeting room.
18. Maintain and create account lists in Delphi through accurate account entry and proper trace
systems to follow up in a timely manner.
19. Maintain active and accurate group and catering contracted filing system as outlined in Office
Procedures.
20. Respond promptly to all inquires, lead referrals, and existing clients; resulting in documentation of
all communication preferably within 4 hours.
21. Phone calls should be returned within 30 minutes.
22. Generate new business through personal contacts as described in the above list of activities.
23. Communicate and report all activities on a timely basis to the Senior Director of Sales by
maintaining the following:
a. Active and accurate accounts and trace system using sales software
b. Monthly Review of individual sales progress and Catering Sales Managers
c. Attendance and active participation at weekly sales meeting and BEO Meetings
24. Maintain working knowledge of all other departments in the hotel in order to work in unison with all
departments.
25. Develop knowledge of the competition to better aid in the solicitation of accounts and network with
industry peers to increase referral business.
26. Follow-up with all clients before, during and after all meetings by up-keeping a current trace
system through written, verbal and personal communication with clients.
27. Meet with clients on property during meetings and conduct pre-con meetings as necessary.
28. Keep abreast of all in-house functions and ensure that all departments are aware of all catered
events.
29. Comply with hotel's Standard Code of Conduct and all other regulations established by
management and Employee Handbook.
30. Participate in Department weekend coverage program as scheduled.
31. Be completely knowledgeable of hotel's emergency procedures as instructed by hotel management.
32. Be familiar with current marketing programs of the hotel with the Senior Director of Sales
33. Monitor, update and maintain Group Room Control Log and monitor catering sales accounts and
BEO's.
34. Monitor your Department's and individual market segments revenue pace vs. actual on the
Manager's Daily Report.
35. Review guest list in house/arrivals report to be aware of potential company business to target
within assigned market segments.
36. Active participation in daily sales stand up meeting and weekly sales & staff meetings.
37. Lead theWit experience as instructed by the hotel leaders.
38. Exemplify the hotel's Standard Code of Conduct and all other regulations established by
management and Employee Handbook.

7. Must be able to lift and carry thirty pounds.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Communicate in the primary language of the hotel.
2. Show off the proper uniform/dress at all times and be well groomed.
3. Be flexible since you are running a 24/7 hotel operation.
