Description

General Duties:

  • Foster an inclusive, team-oriented day-to-day culture that serves Club members, guests, and associates through high levels of engagement, development, and encouragement.
  • Lead high performing Executive and Senior Leadership Team meetings that advance project workflow and support the goals of its members.
  • Along with the General Manager and other key operation leaders, deliver exceptional guest experience throughout the resort and Club. Ensure luxury standards are met for each guest and Club Member experience.
  • Along with the General Manager and Director of Food & Beverage, ensure all dining amenities deliver consistent, quality service experiences while maintaining proper COGS to delivery on financial performance.
  • Support Club Membership initiatives and serve as a liaison for Club Ambassadors to promote and deliver on Club Operations and programming with the goal to acquire and retain existing members.
  • Work with key Horseshoe Bay and community stakeholders and build strong relationships that help foster the ongoing success of the resort and Club.
  • Work with department heads/managers/leads to create procedures and standards that ensure accountability in delivering a high-quality guest and member experience that achieves desired results.
  • Develop the overall hotel strategy to maximize guest satisfaction, service standards, staff satisfaction and financial performance.
  • Participate in weekly Commercial generation meetings, supporting and driving all revenue strategies over marketing, leisure sales, group, and amenities that increase and steal market share.
  • Review and approve sales goals that align with budgeted expectations to meet and exceed financial performance.
  • Lead and oversee reporting for monthly ownership/investor financial review meetings.
  • Conduct morning standups for Resort and Club operation teams.
  • Anticipate opportunities and professionally addresses, prevents, and solves problems as necessary.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for leaders and foster growth of department heads to attract and retain top talent.
  • Participate in risk management loss prevention to ensure safety and to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure all department leaders maintain budgeted productivity levels, accurate forecast and company reporting standards through monthly financial reviews.
  • Oversee and lead annual budget process as required by Crescent Hotels and Resorts.

    Employment standards:

  • 10 years progressive experience in a luxury golf resort with spa and private membership component; OR a 4-year college degree and at least 5 to 10 years of related experience; OR a 2-year college degree and at least 10 to 15 years of related experience.
  • Strong financial expertise.
  • A track record of developing and implementing group sales strategies.
  • A high degree of engagement with commercial revenue strategies.
  • Successful experience in building a culture of luxury resort operations.
  • Experience in multi-outlet food & beverage resorts with significant banquet and catering revenues.
  • Experience operating resorts with successful spa operations.
  • A strong understanding of golf and private membership sales and operations.
  • Substantial experience with verbal and written communication with all levels in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
  • A positive demeanor to approach all encounters with guests, members, and staff in an attentive, courteous, friendly manner.

    Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer

  • Sit for extended periods of time.
