We are searching for a leader to curate the revenue management culture, ultimately accelerating the growth of the overall asset value of the hotels they serve. This individual is a curious self-starter with a genuine interest in collaborating with various team members representing different disciplines of commercial strategy in order to optimize revenue generation and exceed financial and market share goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead analytical and strategic efforts to ensure TrevPAR and RPI goals are achieved
  • Curate, train and sustain the revenue management culture throughout assigned hotels
  • Support yield efforts via analysis and reporting that ensure all segments and distribution channels are "optimized” based on budget, forecast, pace, and market demand.
  • Lead collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Digital Strategy teams to maximize revenue generation/conversion for all market segments and distribution channels.
  • Analyze and review monthly and weekly STR Report results, understanding gains or losses of RevPAR Index and applying this knowledge to impact and predict future results and further help develop proactive strategies to gain share against the competition.
  • Develop monitor and adjust group pricing strategies, preferred patterns and need periods where necessary.
  • Engage in the annual BT pricing process. Provide data analysis of production trends and pricing guidance to hotels to ensure alignment to annual revenue goals.
  • Lead the top line rooms budget process, compiling market data, developing the rooms budget by day by segment, completing competitive set penetration analysis, and clearly presenting strategies by segment, by season, and by room type.
  • For each hotel, ensure that the daily 120-day forecast by segment is updated and reviewed weekly
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with strategic partners
  • Additional job duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES

  • 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Management, overseeing multiple hotels concurrently.
  • Understanding of general hotel operations and the philosophy of yield management.
  • Strong leadership skills, acting decisively while always seeking feedback
  • Proven analytical skills, taking a thoughtful and curious approach
  • Proficient in optimizing the following commercial strategy systems: Opera, SynXis, IDeaS, Cendyn.
  • Thorough understanding of the following data analytics platforms: OTA Insights products, Demand360.
  • Experience in optimizing OTA's, including but not limited to management of Expedia travel ads.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
