Description

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Include the following.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Maintain smooth working relationship with the State Police.
  • Complies and enforces all state and gaming regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinates moves and conversions of slot machines.
  • Monitors the data system that is connected to the slot machines.
  • Handles guest disputes as necessary.
  • Observes and evaluates technical personnel.
  • Protects company assets.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises Slot Techs. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/Or Experience

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and

respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Good oral and written communication skills in English.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Must have outstanding ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Louisiana Gaming License, LACT and/or TIPS card required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift heavy machinery. Must be able to stand at least 8 hours.

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Will be working with wires in machines, and other mechanical parts. Must be 21 years old or older. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and Internet Communications. Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
Additional Information
Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Bally's from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Bally's Attendance Policy. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
