Manages accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and present business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Responsible for booking all corporate and business travel. Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients.
Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and well documented. Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts.
Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition.
This person must have a clear understanding of hotel business strategies and set goals to achieve them.
Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales
Conducts daily sales calls and arrange for site inspections by corporate clients
Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times by providing timely responses with immediate communication
Establish and grow market share by developing and maintaining relationships with major group and catering clients
Conduct yourself as a Hotel professional at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and the marketing plan
Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively
Good organization and time management skills required
3 or more years of experience in Hospitality Sales management or in a leadership role within the sales
OnQ Hilton experience preferred
