Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks as prescribed by the Financial Controller and/or the Director of Finance.
• Prepare analysis for the Financial Controller, Director of Finance, General Manager and/or corporate.
• Maintain daily banking and balancing reports. Reconciliation and maintenance of all CIP accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile daily credit card receipts and deposits.
• May review journal entries or account reconciliations.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Education And/Or Experience

College degree in accounting or equivalent or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management and/or public groups.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply general algebraic concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

May be required to obtain and hold a Louisiana Gaming License.

Additional Duties/ Job Dimensions

Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Bally’s from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to Bally’s Attendance Policy. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes all shifts, weekends and holiday periods.
