• Demonstrates a winning personality with refinement and character. Displaying an outgoing personality using confidence and style.

• Performs all assigned tasks with enthusiasm, professionalism and exceeds our customer’s expectations.

• Provides professional greeting upon presentation of valet tickets.

• Ensures that all valet tickets are date and time stamped.

• Maintain accountability of all valet tickets. Immediately reports variance to supervisor on duty.

• Assist guests promptly and courteously in valet check-in and checkout.

• Accurately uses proper telephone techniques and etiquette.

• Provides guest with information including hotel, casino and restaurants, including hours of operations, special events and promotions.

• Ensures all keys are logged, pulled and place in designated area.

• Ability to relate effectively in one-on-one situations with guests and other members of the company.

• Be completely informed about all Bally's Shreveport programs, promotions, and activities

• Assist in training new Valet Clerks as appropriate.

Answer patrons’ complaints and resolves problems.

• Must carry out safety and emergency procedures including, but not limited to, fire, crowd

control, inclement weather and bomb threats.

• Must communicate with guests and be able to direct/escort them to various facilities and

functions within the property.

• Must interact with guests and other valet clerks in a courteous, empathetic and discreet

manner.

• Supports and maintains Bally's Shreveport courtesy guidelines to guests and employees.

• Promote outstanding guest relations.

• Perform tasks outlined on daily checklist.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Duties/Job Dimensions

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by

Bally's Shreveport from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Valet Clerks with irregular attendance will be subject to Bally's Shreveport disciplinary procedures.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Valet Clerks may be

required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Upon employment, all Valet Clerks are required to fully comply with Bally's Shreveport polices

and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of Company facilities. Valet Clerks

who violate Company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action.

Qualifications

Education And/Or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year's previous experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos,

safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to

write simple correspondence and complete trip logs. Ability to effectively present information

in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization. Ability to speak in a clear audible voice.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform operations using units of American money.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems with several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills And Abilities

Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations required.

Ability to work in a drug free environment and pass a chemical dependency test as required.

Ability to carry out safety and emergency procedures.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Valid driver's license with good driving record

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.

Valet Clerk is regularly exposed to temperature extremes. Work area is exposed to auto

exhaust fumes and smoke.
