The Chief Operating Officer for Salt River Gaming Enterprises works in concert with the President/CEO, providing leadership and responsibility for the management of the operations at Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort.

• Demonstrates high personal standards of integrity, professionalism, dedication and performance.  
• Provides strong innovative leadership to organizational development and business activities to create productive work environments and positive results.  
• Responsible for providing motivation and positive morale among casino staff.  
• Works with all departments to produce the best service delivery and quality product.  
• Responsible for optimizing Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort’s volume to achieve the financial goals and objectives of the company.
• Responsible for integrating the strategic plan of the Enterprise with all gaming and non-gaming operations

This position directly manages general managers, directors, and key personnel to provide leadership and oversight for high quality, cost effectiveness and profitability of the enterprise's operations.

Only applicants with the following qualifications will be considered:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 10 years related experience in a gaming & hospitality industries including, but not limited to, leadership, analytical, budgetary, managerial and administrative skills; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
• Ten years gaming & hospitality business experience with significant responsibilities in all areas of operations including gaming, marketing, hotel, food & beverage, and facilities.
• Excellent PC skills.  Must have knowledge of MSWord, Excel and Outlook applications.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.  
• Strong knowledge of rules, procedures and regulations pertaining to casino operations required.
• Must have ability to handle very stressful situations involving both customers and employees and always maintain professional composure.  
• Must be flexible and be able to work for extended periods of time, particularly over weekends and holidays.
