Description

• Apply makeup to guests using a color palette, tools and applicators.
• Work with guests to achieve various looks
• Apply make up for events including weddings
• Apply touchups as necessary
• Purchase and provide your own cosmetics and applicators
• Ensure makeup looks natural and well-applied under different lighting
• Match skin color to color palettes to determine best looks
• Teach makeup application to guests
• Maintain awareness of health and safety issues
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and wants
• Stay up to date with the latest best practices, tools and technology
• Maintain efficient, friendly service.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Excellent knowledge of makeup products, techniques, and technologies

2 years of experience in the makeup industry

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Superior attention to detail

Creative mindset and artistic personality

Customer oriented with a proactive approach

Technical understanding of lighting, photography, styles, and dramatization

Deep understanding of health and safety rules

Great understanding of makeup and hairdressing techniques
