A wonderful opportunity on the Seacoast in the vibrant town of Portsmouth for a Sous Chef to join a team in a historic upscale steakhouse. We are expanding our service to include lunches and more functions and are growing our team.
The Library is a top quality, well organized, highly established restaurant looking to add a professional Sous Chef in our kitchen, following our Executive Chef’s specifications and guidelines. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for culinary arts and a focus on a perfect customer experience, is comfortable in busy situations and is someone who enjoys playing as a team.
We are open to developing an experienced cook who is ready to step up to become a Sous Chef. Working in a team that's excited to grow and build something great together.
Salary - highly competitive based on experience
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Eligible for a substantial year end bonus

2 weeks paid vacation. Competitive Paid Time Off Structure including Vacation, Sick, Holiday Pay, Jury Duty Leave, and Bereavement Leave
2 days off per week (50hour work weeks +/-)
The kitchen closes at 9 on weekdays and 10 on weekends, so no late nights.
