We are currently looking for an experienced Director of Engineering for The Marker Hotel in San Francisco. WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Director of Engineering will be responsible for the overall maintenance operations of the hotel including effectively leading the maintenance department, managing projects and repairs, assisting safety training, and more.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• Effectively run a Preventative Maintenance Program
• Oversee and coordinate major/minor maintenance in all areas of the hotel & restaurant
• Schedule staff to ensure responsiveness to maintenance requests from hotel guests
• Use proper safety measures when operating any equipment, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
• Manage and develop Maintenance team

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 3 years prior experience as the head of engineer preferably in a hotel/resort environment specific to dealing with electrical, plumbing and carpentry repair
• Ability to read blue prints/schematics
• High School graduate or equivalent vocational training
• Ability to work flexible schedules to meet business needs (AM, PM, Weekends and/or Holidays)

The anticipated salary range for this role is $135,000 - $155,000. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc.
