Reporting to: Food & Beverage Director

What are my essential job functions?

  • Oversee usage, quality, safety, and guest experience.
  • Lead, develop and grow with the team.
  • Assists and supports employee relations.
  • Maintains the facility while upholding our standards of excellence and hospitality.
  • Assist and support Food & Beverage Director on F&B tasks.
  • Assists hotel management team with F&B-related tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations.
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Ability to take directions from Food & Beverage Director and hotel management team.
  • Ability to train others on aspects of the operations.
  • Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others to do so.
  • Ability to perform basic administrative tasks in Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
  • Ability to perform ordering/receiving tasks, inventory and have basic P&L knowledge.
  • Desire to learn and develop self and others.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing nametags.
  • Ability to comply with Crescent Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of progressive management experience in full service, fast-paced restaurant/hospitality environment.
  • Union experience is a plus.
