Historic La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe is seeking a passionate full time Lead Host in the La Plazuela restaurant.

Compensation: TBD, Full-Time

The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced with:

  1. "Open Table".
  2. Hosting in a fast paced high end environment.
  3. Excellent communication skills are paramount.
  4. Making on the fly decisions to exceed guest expectations.

La Plazuela Restaurant at La Fonda on the Plaza is looking for a full-time, "open table" experienced Lead Host to join our team. La Plazuela is the featured restaurant at La Fonda and is known for its quintessential Santa Fe atmosphere and casual upscale dining. The ideal candidate has a heart for hospitality and a passion for going "above and beyond" for our guests. A keen eye for managing the flow of the night and creatively finding solutions for seating guests without reservations. There are many opportunities for growth and advancement within this historic hotel. The host positions rate of pay is hourly plus tips. Actual rate to be determined based upon experience.

La Fonda is a historic luxury hotel in the heart of Santa Fe and is the only hotel on the Santa Fe Plaza. La Fonda was built in 1922, but city records indicate that there has been a hotel or inn on this corner of the plaza since Santa Fe’s founding in 1607. The hotel was a Harvey House until 1969, operated by the Harvey Company, which had a legendary reputation for hospitality and “civilizing” the Old West. La Fonda has a long history of supporting the visual arts, and continues that legacy with an ever-growing collection of over 400 pieces of art throughout the hotel—featuring both traditional and contemporary Southwestern art.
