Compensation: $15.00 per hour, Full-Time

Description

Located in the heart of Downtown Riverside, the beautiful and iconic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa has immediate openings for energetic, outgoing, experienced and customer service oriented to fill the position of Banquet Houseperson. In this role you will be responsible for manually set-up and break down all meeting rooms according to hotel high standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.
  • Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors, etc., from storage area to meeting rooms
  • Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
  • Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.
  • Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

What is required:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Maintain a positive attitude with a ‘team’ mentality
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instruction as assigned by supervisor
  • Ability to lift, bend , stoop, walk, push or pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or be on your feet for extended periods of time.
