Located in the heart of Downtown Riverside, the beautiful and iconic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa has and immediate opening for an energetic, outgoing and experienced individual to fill the position of Associate Cafeteria Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for the limited production and full service of food in the Associate Cafeteria, preparation of the cafeteria for service including maintaining proper level of stock, sanitation and safety.

What you will be doing:

  • Set up the cafeteria for service, including the following:

    o Stock all self-service areas with proper equipment and food items

    o Maintain proper standards of sanitation and physical appearance of cafeteria

    o Obtain food supplies from Food Storeroom

    o Obtain food from appropriate Kitchen personnel

    o Obtain needed paper supplies from Controllable Storeroom

    o Obtain par stock of china, glassware, and flatware for food service

  • Serve hotel associates during meal breaks, using proper portions and proper sized utensils as specified in Use Records.
  • Hold taste panels as required.
  • Maintain standards of food sanitation and food quality.
  • Maintain standards of sanitation during meal periods (remove trash and dirty dishes, clean up spills, empty garbage, clean grill, etc.).
  • If necessary, operate cash register or other machine, to ensure associates are charged correctly for food items purchased.
  • Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.

    What is required:

  • 2 years of experience in a culinary position.

    For applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $15.50-$16.00 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
