Definition: Responsible for selling and servicing group business from all markets/regions primarily handling small group business while maximizing revenues for all areas of the Hotel. Assists in the overall efficient operation of the Sales Department, manages accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and solicits new and past business to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded. EMM is responsible for initial contact with client, detailing client’s event, execution of the event and client follow-up post-event to re-book/retain business.

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact. Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs and resolve complaints. Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections.

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent and Horseshoe Bay Resort. Every Associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
