Compensation: $15.00 per hour, Full-Time


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Cuts lawns. Trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls.
  • Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs.
  • Cleans grounds and removes litter.
  • Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs. Waters lawn and shrubs.
  • Repairs fences, gates, walls, and walks.
  • Cleans out drainage ditches and culverts.
  • Sharpens tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shears.
  • Sweeps, dusts, mops, hoses, buffs, and waxes walkways, patios, other outside areas as necessary.
  • Ties and stakes plants.
  • Digs holes and trenches.
  • Weeds, spreads soil amendments, and observe plant conditions.
  • Waters as necessary and determines soil moisture with fingers.
  • Moves pots and building materials.
  • Uses various gardening equipment including blowers and weed trimmers.
  • Maintains and assists in the cleanliness of individual work areas.
  • Adheres to hotel policies and procedures. Follows hotel grooming standards.
  • Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of the .
  • Communicates effectively with guests, customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required.
