Compensation: $16.00 per hour, Full-Time

Description

  • Assists by telephone guests/clients with room service orders.
  • Always calls the guest by name and answer the telephone in a friendly manner using clear, verbal communication.
  • Listens to callers to understand inquires and requests.
  • Takes all information accurately and complete.
  • Always obtains prospective guests' name, room number and how many people you are serving.
  • Creates, receives and visually inspects guest checks for any inaccuracies, then closes the check to the proper method of payment. (i.e., cash, credit card, room charge, house charge etc.)
  • Displays a complete knowledge of all menu items.
  • Make recommendation to up-sell food order
  • Process cancellations, revisions and information updates on changes; process guest orders requests within the system.
  • Stay abreast of current rates, rate changes and all promotions.
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines in order to ensure total guest satisfaction. Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Notify sales of any group bookings.
  • May assist with other duties as assigned.
