Restaurant Hosts / Hostesses

Description

Located in the heart of Downtown Riverside, the beautiful and iconic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa has immediate openings for energetic, outgoing and customer service oriented to fill the position of host/hostess in our restaurants.

In this role you will primarily be responsible for greeting and escorting guests to tables in the restaurant, while maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction.

What you will be doing:

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, explain restaurant concept, offer choice of seating, then escort them to their table and present menu.
• Read, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
• Maintain proper set-up of dining room.
• Receive records and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Assist in the overall function and success of restaurant. Tasks may include bussing tables, running food, and taking/delivering in-room dining orders
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
