Property Administrative Assistant is responsible for proactively supporting and representing the sales department and restaurant in events and general administrative support while upholding brand standards and core values.Reports directly to General Manager.
Overall Essential Functions:
Greet customers and create a friendly, welcoming, clean environment
Answer all incoming phone calls and assist restaurant hosts by inputting restaurant reservations in OpenTable
Answer all incoming event inquiries daily via phone and email
Make payments/deposits for sales managers as requested
Distribute Banquet Event Orders weekly to all departments
Process weekly sales reports
Create & print daily private event menus, buffet signs & directional signage
Assist with content creation and management of all social media platforms and event websites (ie The Knot, Wedding Wire, Instagram, etc) to drive business
Communicate directly with executive chef and management to put together all seasonal/holidays menus to be shared across advertising pipeline, website, etc.
Work with executive chef to update restaurant menus and update on website when needed
Assist sales team with new ideas to increase sales- business meeting lunches, engagement packages, elopement packages, wine dinners
Assist restaurant management team with OpenTable for holidays and closures
Place office supply orders, as needed
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Experience: Hospitality sales and/or Catering/Event Management, Event Planning experience preferred. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Open Table.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school or GED required.
Must be reasonably proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OpenTable.
Must be able to routinely work sitting at a computer workstation 80% of normal workday.
Self-starter, multi-tasker, detail-oriented and thorough.
Experience in providing high levels of customer service, along with having sound judgment, discretion.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and work with a diverse group of customers, management, vendors and co-workers.
Dependable, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
