Job Description
As the On-Call Steward, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and sanitation of all Food and Beverage areas, to include Dish Rooms, Main Kitchen, Bake Shop, F&B Cold and Dry Storage, Poolside Pantries, and Banquet Food Service Areas.

Schedule Details:This position is On-Call. On-Call Team Members are generally scheduled 0-19 hours per week. Our Food & Beverage Department operates 7 days per week. Steward Team Members will work varying shifts ranging between the hours of 5am-12am.
Additional Responsibilities Include:- Wash, sanitize, sort all Food and Beverage/Kitchen Equipment and store in its proper location; Clean, mop, sweep, and maintain all F&B areas
- Open, close, stock and maintain cleanliness of the Team Member Cafeteria
- Assist in equipment needs for Banquet Event Orders and pull all sanitary and clean equipment needed for the Banquet Function
- Set up, break down, and maintain Banquet Bussing Station(s) before, during, and after banquet functions
- Properly recycle and dispose of trash and maintain the cleanliness of the cardboard compactor area, Main Trash Dumpster area, and Recycling Bins
- Assist in any other reasonable task as requested by management.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED
- The ability to bend, stoop, walk and lift/push/pull up to 100lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Proficient in the English language to communicate both verbally and in writing with guests, owners and co-workers
- The ability to follow all chemical safety procedures
- Must possess (or be able to obtain) Hawaii Dept. of Health Tuberculosis Clearance Certification
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous Hotel/Hospitality customer service experience
