Delaware North Gaming is hiring for a full-time HR Coordinator to join the team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As an HR Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the HR team and assist with the day-to-day operations at Southland Casino.

Responsibilities 

• Support the team with internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests
• Prepare pre-employment paperwork and initiate the new hire process for incoming associates
• Assist with new hire orientation
• Maintain associate training records; ensure associates receive refresher training when required
• Ensure federal, state, local, and company regulations are followed when handling hard and digital associate files
• Follow compliance and company regulations when working with sensitive and confidential information
• Complete essential administration tasks; answering emails, phone calls, and filing
• All other duties assigned

Qualifications 

• Minimum two years of administrative experience required.
• Human Resources Assistant experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Must be able to obtain an AR Gaming License
• Must be at least 21 years old

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to lift or carry 15 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk during the shift
• Frequent bending, climbing, stooping, reaching and carrying
• Indoor office environment
• Exposure to high-volume noise
• Exposure to a smoky environment
