What you will be doing

• Helps plan and coordinate timely seating of guests.
• Hangs guests’ coats.
• Takes reservations in person and over the phone, using professional language at all times.
• Answers telephones, responding to guests’ questions in a professional manner.
• Remain knowledgeable about resort services and amenities.
• Maintains cleanliness of coatroom and podium areas.
• Maintains perfectly clean uniform.
• Cleans and re-sets tables as needed.
• Inputs data into Micros system.
• May create the player accounts within our system and issues the player cards in conjunction with the properties loyalty program.
• Makes change while keeping an accurate and secure bank.
• Make copies of all paperwork and checks daily
• Assists in other Food and Beverage departments as needed.
• Performs other duties as reasonably requested by Management.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have one-year restaurant experience.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must have a pleasant personality.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be hands-on
• Must always present a hospitality mentality--warm and generous.
• Must always ensure a teamwork environment
